New Hi-Lo Leagues Forming!
Last updated 12/8/2024
The National Hi-Lo Association is currently organizing new leagues in the hi-lo format for play in 2025.
In hi-lo, teams in the American and National Leagues are paired up in reverse order of finish – team with the best record in the AL paired with team with worst record in the NL, and so on. The combined players are then reduced into a single team.
Hi-lo leagues are smaller, usually 10 teams or less, and do not require any drafting. Managers get completely different teams each year, so there are no long-term issues with teams dominating or being non-competitive. In subsequent seasons, managers will select from the new pairings based on their reverse order of finish in the previous year.
These will be ongoing non-AIM leagues that play games on a monthly basis. Seasons will be scheduled over six to eight months.
Monthly lineups and rotation will be due on the first of the month, with results due on the 25th.
The seasons being organized are 1951 and 1962. Each season has its own page on this site with specific details about that season.
Managers will be required to already own or purchase any version of the season disk being used. It does not have to be the most recent version of that season.
